Onishi
CERAMICS
In 2024 I attended the Shiro Oni Ceramic Residency in Onishi, Japan. Emersed in a small rural towntown we were exposed to many aspects of Japans=ese culture. The highlight was the firing of the anamage kiln, an ancient wood fired method where the ash forms a glaze that is depositied on the work.
